How the class is structured

A GROUP LESSON LASTS 90 MINUTES. EACH LESSON IS DIVIDED INTO THREE PARTS:

“To live spiritually is to live in the present. Yoga brings us to the present moment, making us aware of our posture, our movements and our breathing.”

– Swami Vivekananda-

The Benefits

THE PRACTICE BRINGS FEELINGS OF OPENNESS, FORCE, VIGOUR, CALM; THE STUDENTS LEARN TO BE FAMILIAR WITH THEIR OWN BODY, THE SPACE IN WHICH THEY MOVE, TO REMAIN IN THE “HERE AND NOW”.

The resistances of the body are read as starting points. The practice is tailored to the needs of the individual student, respecting the uniqueness of the physical structure, state of health, age and level.
During the practice it is explained how to protect the joints and the spine, how to flow through the asanas dissolving the physical and the energetic blocks, favoring the flow of the body fluids and energy and restoring inner balance.
With regular practice and patience, the students learn to move with balance and harmony in all daily activities.
The body and the mind flexibility increases: just as the body learns to flow from one position to another, so the individual who practices constantly, learns to flow in life, dissolving emotional, behavioral and mental stiffness.

About

I approached Yoga in the 90s in Milan under the careful guidance of my first teacher Yogacharini Anasuya Anastasia Bernardi B.A. M.T. direct student of Yogamaharishi Swami Dr. Gitananda Giri
From 2003 to 2009 I lived in the United States of America where I continued to study Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga under different teachers and teaching approaches.
Over the years, I began to feel that my sadhana had become too hard on my joints and skeleton: at the end of each session I felt stiff and sore. For long I ignored my body clear signals, and only after an injury I did stop and move away from the practice. For a few years I ignored the call of Yoga, until I came across Jacopo Ceccarelli who proposed an innovative approach to Yoga as the practice was adapted to the person’s body. Since then my body has moved more fluidly, several skeleton problems have been resolved and the joints no longer hurt.
In 2017 I obtained my Yoga and Meditation Instructor Certification – Integral and Anukalana approach (Yoga Alliance; CSEN; UISP) – RYT 400 at the Samadhi school Yoga School – Milan (Italy). I am regularly registered and recognized by Yoga Alliance.
